515-6050 F-26 ALL PURPOSE LUBRICANT FOR BELTS AND DISCS
This is the “original” and ever popular F-26 coated abrasive grease stick that is in universal use. The regular type polishing wheel grease sticks are purposely made of high melting point greases, but abrasive belts run so cool that these types of greases have a tendency to form a “gummy” surface referred to as “loading” or “glazing”. The use of F-26 on belts and discs prevents this. It is a light bodied grease – that spreads out thinly – remains “wet” on the belt – and provides lubrication by penetrating the coated abrasive surface. F-26 prevents clogging and leaves the abrasive grit free to cut clean and smooth. F-26 is recommended for all belt-polishing operations – on all metals, plastics and glass.
515-6051 F-90 A WHITE TALLOW BASE LUBRICANT WITH A HIGH MELTING POINT
F-90 is a pure tallow base mixture. Its purpose is to serve as a lubricant and at the same time, fill and close the belt with a heavy bodied grease film. The object of such a heavy bodied grease film on the belt may be two-fold. When applied to fine grit size coated abrasive belts, it permits a glazing or burnishing action. When applied to coarse grit belt operations the grease film is heavy enough to stay on the belt under severe conditions.
515-6053 F-115 COMBINATION MIXTURE OF BELT GREASE & TRIPOLI ABRASIVE POWDER
Coated abrasive belts, used for polishing non-ferrous metals, zinc or aluminum die castings, are often discarded before their useful life is expended because the belts become loaded with metal particles. F-115’s combination mixture of belt grease and Tripoli abrasive powder serves to fill the space between the abrasive grit and minimizes clogging and metal load glazing. In addition, agent” by bringing out the Tripoli abrasive powder functions as a buffing compound “coloring a brighter luster than is obtainable with non-abrasive filled grease sticks.
515-6054 F-122 COMBINATION MIXTURE OF BELT GREASE & ALUMINUM OXIDE BUFFING FLOUR
F-122 is a mixture of belt grease and un-fused, aluminum oxide buffing flour. The grease base serves as a lubricant and the abrasive flour functions the same as a buffing compound “coloring agent” imparting luster to the polished work. F-122 is particularly recommended for belt polishing operations on stainless or carbon steel when a high quality, bright finish is desirable.
515-6055 F-200 WHEEL WAX
A crystalline wax formation combined with a unique, dry inorganic, lubricating additive. Permits super-fine grinding, polishing and finishing. Apply to Abrasive Discs and Grinding Wheels to prevent loading Aluminum Weld and Solder Grinding. Leaves the and glazing caused by work cleaner than a conventional grease stick.
