Glu-Tite serves as an anchoring size coat of glue and is used prior to applying Satin-Glo Greaseless compound. It permits forming a thicker and longer lasting abrasive head.

Often when buffing objects that have sharp edges, projections or recessed areas, a raking action against the face of the buffing wheel may occur and prematurely wear away the head of the Satin-Glo Greaseless compound. Many polishing operations can be handled more speedily and economically with a combination of both the GLU-TITE and Satin-Glo Greaseless compound
GLU-TITE is a glue based adhesive sizing compound formulated to improve adhesion, cutting properties and duration of the Satin-Glo Greaseless compound.
It is applied in the same manner as Satin-Glo Greaseless compound, on a loose muslin or sewed buff. Where harder polishing wheels are used, it is advisable to apply the GLU-TITE in heavier coatings. Heavier coatings provide a good base for the subsequent more rigid heads of Satin-Glo Greaseless Compound
