SISAL / CLOTH BUFFING WHEEL BAR COMPOUNDS
Specifically developed buffing wheel compounds are essential for application on Sisal Buffs.
Buffing compounds that perform well on cloth wheels frequently leave much to be desired when used on sisal buffs. The relatively open weave of woven sisal and the coarseness of cord sisal make it more difficult to retain a good compound head. Over the years, Formax has developed a series of Sisal Buffing Compounds specifically for Sisal buffing wheels.
While there is no single grade of compound that suits all jobs equally well, the grades listed below are widely used and represent a good starting point for test samples. (Bar color: Black)

| 515-6155 | SC-29 | SIERRA SISAL BAR COMPOUND SC-29 is a slightly dryer than SC-18. Suitable from most manual buffing operations. |

Packing Information: All grades made in standard size bar form 2” x 2” x 10”.
Also available in extra long lengths and special shapes to fit buffing applicators. All grades packed 24 bars per carton.
